Conveyor chains

Conveyor chains supplied pre-assembled, according to drawing for every application requirement

In general, the same principles apply as for transmission chains, but the dimensioning method changes depending on additional considerations (typical of the application) which are listed below:

•    Provide guide rails and consider their relative coefficient of friction based on the material chosen for the guide rail

•    Determine the exact working speed to establish whether lubrication is needed or not

•    In the case of 2 chains working in parallel joined together by crossbars and/or spindles or other, consider that each one is capable of bearing 75% of the total load (and not only 50% as would seem logical), as the load is often asymmetrical and/or poorly balanced

•    Check the permissible pressure between bush and roller.
